Applications & Use

The M-neb® dose+ mesh nebulizer MN-300/8 is a vibrating nebulizer system for the treatment of the lower respiratory tract. The M-neb® dose+ mesh nebulizer MN-300/8 nebulizer system enables the precise delivery of the inhalation solutions prescribed by a physician (e.g., suspensions or emulsions) as an aerosol for inhalation. The inhalation solutions must be approved for inhalation via vibrating nebulization (mesh nebulization).

The M-neb® dose+ mesh nebulizer MN-300/8 nebulizer system may be used in a home setting (HOMECARE) or in professional healthcare facilities (PROFESSIONAL).

How It Works

The M-neb® dose+ mesh nebulizer MN-300/8 features two nebulization modes: triggered mode and continuous mode.

In triggered mode, aerosol production is triggered by inhalation through the M-neb® dose+ mesh nebulizer MN-300/8 mouthpiece. The M-neb® dose+ mesh nebulizer MN-300/8 produces aerosol only during the inhalation phase (synchronization). In continuous mode, the M-neb® dose+ mesh nebulizer MN-300/8 produces aerosol continuously.

In addition, the M-neb® dose+ mesh nebulizer MN-300/8 features an automatic shut-off function. Regardless of the nebulization mode, the M-neb® dose+ mesh nebulizer MN-300/8 automatically shuts off as soon as the loaded inhalation solution has been completely nebulized. Every nebulization mode is equipped with the automatic shut-off feature.

The maximum runtime in triggered mode is 2 hours. The maximum runtime in continuous mode is 1 hour.
